Homeland in OKC is awesome!
A few days ago, I had to make a trip to Oklahoma City. While I was there, I stopped in at a big Homeland on North May Avenue. OMG!!!! It looked like a fancy deluxe upscale market! The bakery had the fanciest cakes and all shapes, sizes, flavors, and colors of gorgeous dessert items. Even cake pops on sticks and fancy flower shaped cupcakes and candies. They even had a fresh fruit bar. I actually thought I had wandered in to the wrong store. The cashiers were friendly and the store was stocked. Wow, it was awesome! Now I know that the company's offices are in OKC, but why do we only have one little worn-looking store in Tulsa with plain stale donuts? And, our store is always out of everything. (Even though they have improved in this area.) Man, I'm going back there again anytime I have to drive anywhere close!
PS I am thankful that we have our one Homeland store that doubles coupons, but I'm not joking about the stale donuts. I've bought them at the Tulsa store twice and both times they were dated for two days later, but were already stale!!!!
